PSII Cherokee-G
« on: November 16, 2015, 09:30:30 AM »
OK, its not a legitimate PSII offering, but I recently built this upscale of the Estes Cherokee-D by kitbashing a Pro Series Argent:

Basically, the upper section of the Argent was replaced with a nose cone from the Partizon (I didn't even have to cut the tubes) and I made new fins.  It was easy enough that its a shame Estes doesn't offer it themselves.  Decals came from Stickershock.  Hopefully, it'll fly on Black Friday, weather permitting...

It did leave me with a bunch of leftover Argent parts - fins, nose cone, 2" tube section, transition.  What to do with those?  Stay tuned...

Cool Rocket Rick,
(hey I think I may have just given you a new nick name)
Looking forward to seeing it fly.

Thanks.  Yep, Stickershock.  I'm finally getting the hang of large vinyl decals...
