I know this is thinking way in advance.  But a thought occurred to me today (it happens occasionally) - the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 will fall over a weekend.  Well, specifically, the anniversary of the lunar landing does; the actual launch anniversary falls mid-week.  The thought that occurred to me is that it would be cool if 1) the club had some form of largish URRF-type launch that weekend, and 2) we could see how many Saturn-V models we could get on the pads.  Just sort of a flight of fancy at the moment, but it would be a cool thing to do...

That is quite a long term plan.  May have to finish one of mine....

The way I procrastinate, not sure if 3 years is enough.... ;)

Well, I've had my Apogee Saturn V for over a year, and I started it a couple of months ago. I might have it finished by then... I'm in!

I know - its a long time out (or so it seems now), and I don't usually long-term plan a lot either.  But can you picture a mid or high power Saturn drag race?  Or even a Dr. Zooch ant scale spec-series race?    How cool would that be?   ;D
