Rocketry Campaign at RIT
« on: December 15, 2015, 10:29:34 AM »
Hi all,

My name is Connor Pierce.  I'm the secretary for a newly-formed club of RIT students who are excited about rocketry.  We're entered in the 2016 IREC contest: http://www.soundingrocket.org/2016-irec.html.  The goal of the contest is to build a rocket that can carry a 10-lb payload to 10000 feet altitude.

We just launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for our project, which can be found here:  https://rit.useed.net/Z2AZWhE3_dQ.  If you could directly support us, or just share us with your friends, we'd really appreciate it!  (We also accept mentoring in lieu of or in addition to monetary donations. :) )

If you have any questions, please email me and I'll attempt to answer them.

Thanks for your time!

Connor,
Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting! This is a really cool contest and I'm glad to hear about your new club at RIT. If you need ANY help, please ask! We have club members who have reached 40k feet, hit over mach 2, built and flown HUGE rockets.... you name it, someone here has probably done it. cool project!
